Her work gathers fragments, relations and stories from everyday life. She combines and restructures these elements to present them as speculative interpretations that challenge power relations and the gestures that perpetuate them.
A central critique in Keunen’s practice challenges productivity-oriented value systems, in which the everyday is measured against efficiency and output. By employing repetition and inefficiency as tactics, she repositions this logic and questions how gesture and physical presence take shape as relational processes. Everyday habits are subverted until their inner workings become vulnerable and permeable. Her handmade objects, artifacts and installations draw from fluid materials that carry a performative potential. The resulting deconstructions of social conditioning and gender identity translate into spatial interventions suspended in states of liminality.
Keunen holds a master in Product Design from LUCA School of Arts (2023) and a master in Contextual Design from Design Academy Eindhoven (2025). She has exhibited at several national and international institutions and venues, such as Design Museum Brussels (BE), Belgian Art & Design Fair (BE), Kassé (BE), Wonder (BE), De Fabriek (NL), Microstad Eindhoven (NL), Vienna Design Week (AS), Equilibrio festival (IT) and has performed several interventions in public space (BE).
